Navigating / Reading a Map (Without GPS!)

Where would we be without our GPS? Before GPS, people got to their destination by using a map! Although we rely on our phones and GPS systems to get us to our destinations, it is very important that our children know how to get from place to place without them.
 
Test their knowledge of reading a map and using a compass to see if they can find their way around this city! 
 
Challenge your little one to get to all 4 sets of locations using just the descriptions and the compass! There are easy, medium, and hard levels that build in complexity as your child masters each set! After they have mastered the lists provided, challenge them to come up with their own directions! Or you come up with directions and see if they can get their, too!
 
What a fun way to build your child's directional abilities without any dependence on technology!
